All our candles come with an important safety label on the bottom of the jar to guarantee you are informed on the correct and sensible ways to use our products. Please take a moment to review this information and our candle care guide for the best burning experience.

First Burn (Light your candle for at least 3 hours on the first burn, this will ensure the wax melts evenly across the whole jar.)

Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant flat surface away from any items that can catch fire.

Never burn candle for longer than 4 hours at a time

DO NOT use it if the vessel is chipped, broken or cracked.

Stones (If you notice stones are moving into the middle of your candle and blocking the wick simply wait for the wax to cool then, remove them with a spoon DO NOT PULL THEM OUT WITH YOUR HANDS. Rinse in hot water and place in your home for their healing properties)

Avoid burning your candle in drafty areas (This will maximize your candles burn time and ensure a nice even burn)

Store candles (Store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place)

Dust Free (Keep your candle dust free by placing the lid on after every use)

Trim the Wick (We recommend you trim the wick before every lighting to around 6mm in length. This will help avoid tunneling and control the size of the flame allowing you to get the most out of your candle.)

When finishing your burn (Please do not use the lids to extinguish your candle. Instead please use a candle snuffer or blow it out.)

Remove packaging from the outside while burning.

Do not touch the vessel while the candle is lit or melted. (Melted wax is hot so please ensure you do not touch the jar whilst it is melted)

Discontinue use of your candle once wax is 10mm from the bottom. This will prevent any heat damage and cracking of glass.

NEVER LEAVE CANDLE UNATTENDED OR WITHIN REACH OF CHILDREN OR PETS.

YOU ARE 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE AND USE OF YOUR CANDLE. (we have gone to extreme measures to ensure the quality and safety of your candles. therefore it is up to you to use them correctly. Willow candle and co will not be held responsible if you do not)
Refund Policy

We have a 30 day return policy (30 days after receiving your item to request a return.)

To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. (we only accept refunds if the item was faulty on arrival.)

If your return is accepted, you will be expected to pay for return shipping and we will refund you once we have received the item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please Check your order as soon as you receive it, and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or the wrong item has been sent so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Unfortunately we can’t accept returns on change-of-mind purchases, sale items or gift cards.

EXCHANGES

Return the item you have as soon as possible. Once the return is accepted, you’ll then be able to make a separate purchase for your new item.

REFUNDS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember: it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

We hope you love Willow Candle and Co’s Candles just as much as we do! Here is some disclaimer information you should know..

Please allow between a 5-10 day turn around for items to sometimes be shipped. These are all Handmade products that take time, love and care to get to you.

Stone size and placement will Vary from piece to piece.

Our candles are hand poured using premium soy wax and Australian made premium fragrance oils. Soy marks easily and is sensitive to heat. In other words, we do our best to make a perfect product and ship it in top-notch condition, but any irregularities should be considered as features and will not affect the candle’s function.

It is important to know you should not burn your candle all the way to the bottom! Once it is less than 1 cm from the bottom please do not burn again as the wax will get very hot and could shatter the glass. (Put boiling water in the jar and soak until water is cool then remove the wax and put in the bin and wash and use the jar however you wish)

If your candle has been provided with a lid, do not burn the candle with the lid in place. The lid will become very hot to touch and may cause burns to the skin. In extreme cases the excess heat may cause the glass to shatter.

Always practice caution when burning candles. Important warnings to heed:

Burn Candle within sight (NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED)

Trim wick 5mm Before lighting after each use.

DO NOT Use a lid to snuff out candles.

Keep Candles away from Drafts and Vibrations

The candle glass will be hot during and after burning so beware touching the candle while it is hot and placing a hot candle on sensitive surfaces.

Keep candle away from anything that may catch fire

DO NOT BURN CANDLE FOR ANY LONGER THAN 4 HOURS AT AT TIME

KEEP CANDLE AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS
